Coming from a small surf town in southern Florida, Jen grew up on two things: sandy beaches and fried foods. When she moved to San Francisco at the age of ten she instantly fell in love with the diversity in culture, food and art that the city had to offer. After studying fashion merchandising at the Academy of Art and then working for major labels doing visual design for a few years, she decided the fashion world was not where she wanted to settle. Having still yearned for personal interaction and an upbeat fast paced environment, Jen found her path in restaurants and never looked back. She had been working for larger scale companies for 5 years when she happened across Pizzaiolo, where the cozy atmosphere and family operated business plan better aligned with her personal upbringing. She hopes to continue to add to the small town feel and family-first values that are essential to Pizzaiolo, even in a fast growing, urban city.
