Pizzaiolo is a former hardware store in Oakland. Chez Panisse alumnus Charlie Hallowell is serving top-rate pizzas as well as a wonderful Southern Italian menu that includes absurdly good meats and fish cooked in the wood oven. We loved the pork shoulder braised in milk.
